Dammam
Dammam is the capital of the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, located on the Persian Gulf. It is the largest city in the Eastern Province, and the sixth largest in the country, with a population of over 4 million. It is known for its large oil reserves, and its port, King Abdulaziz Port, is the largest on the Persian Gulf. Additionally, it is home to some of the oldest archaeological sites in the region, dating back to the Stone Age.
The city mixes revitalised urban sites with individuality in its local marketplaces, which are ornamented with excellent traditional crafts including weaving, ceramics, and wicker work. Takyt Bahar
The green space on Marjan Island, which overlooks the lovely blue waters of the Arabian Gulf, was inaugurated in 1991 and can cover up to 53,000 square metres. A spiral-shaped tower in the centre of the island allows tourists to climb to an elevation of 30 metres above sea level to observe Dammam.
