The Saudi Titanic - Georgios G. Wreck

The Georgios G, lies shipwrecked off the coast of AlHaql, near Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. Built in Britain in 1949, this cargo ship, known by various names throughout its life, met its fate in 1978 while carrying flour to Jordan. It inexplicably veered off course, struck a coral reef, and succumbed to the damage, leaving behind a rusting skeleton and a story shrouded in mystery.

The reason for its deviation and the fate of its cargo and crew remain unknown, adding to the intrigue of this local landmark that continues to captivate visitors with its haunting beauty and enigmatic past.
